The one log book inspection I will never forget, happened in Osceola,Ia. (I had entered my hours of service into the Trucker Tracker Log Book program on my laptop the day before. It let me know that there was a mistake with the HOS. I had added up my hours wrong, so made the corrections). Anyway, when I crossed the scales in Osceola, I was asked to bring in my logbook. When I went into the scale house, the DOT officer had his pen,pad and calculator out and ready. When he realized there were no mistakes on my logbook, I was sent on my way. If I did not have the T/T Logbook program, I imagine I would have left a good bit of money in Iowa. |

Rawhide,
Thanks very much for the kind words and for sharing your experience! We have been getting calls and e-mails describing how the TruckerTracker daily log has helped with the transition to the new HOS rules out there and we appreciate the feedback very much. Keep it safe and we wish you a fantastic 2004 out there!
